scandinavian rainbow

BB Dakota top, JustFab denim, Sam Edelman oxfords, Kate Spade Saturday bag

I got a comment last week regarding my affinity for all things greyscale when it comes to wardrobe. "Black, white, and grey...the Scandinavian rainbow!" I liked the sound and the idea of it. But really, they're my favorite colors, especially in cold weather like this. In fact, I think in that last photo I'm staring longingly at the indoors, waiting to be welcomed back into the warmth of my office...

  1. I'm so in love with your kate spade bag! It's gorgeous!

  2. Love your bag and shoes!

  3. Can I have your hair please?! So gorgeous!

  4. Was literally just thinking about how I need to venture away from black, white and grey lately, but I love how effortless they are and they just go too well with the season. I guess I'll work on it come spring ;)

  5. Sam Edelman really needs to make his way into my closet asap...
    Love these oxfords.

  6. Ha! As a scandinavian, I definitely appreciate the concept of a "Scandinavian Rainbow". I've always had an affinity for really bright colors until the last year or two when the neutral bug bit me. I'm enjoying the change, though.

I love the vibe of this post.

  7. My entire winter wardrobe has consisted of the Scandinavian rainbow as well. I'm thinking, come spring, am I gonna have to start wearing, like... real colors?

    I honestly don't know.

Anyways, you look great and that bag is exquisite. I might just have to get me one.

  8. I love your blog. It's one of the first blogs I look at each day! Your style inspires me, as I, too, am casual and I love grey, black, and white.

You should do a post with photos of your room and of your wardrobe. Just a fun idea. :)

  9. I'm right there with you on the Scandinavian rainbow. I'm small, a color of pale that shouldn't exist, and ashy blonde. And yep, extremely Danish. So there's not many colors in the rainbow that I can wear that don't make me look a little corpse-y. Black and Greyscale all the way. People don't understand it. I'm way glad you do.
