doing the daily

A few of you have asked to see how I get my basic daily waves. Quite honestly, I do it how everyone else does it and it's super simple.

The overnight braid gives the final look some extra texture, and also makes it harder to notice if you miss curling a piece here or there. I love this look best after a few hours when the curl begins to fall. You're left with a no-nonsense, "my-hair-always-looks-like-this" style! To make it stay, I use this John Frieda hairspray.

Told you guys it was simple! After ya get your hair did, be sure to enter the giveaway for a pair of feather moccasins by Minnetonka Moccasin. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!

  1. does the braiding give you natural waves when you wake up anyway? that would be a load easier than curling every day. thanks for the tips. your hair is so pretty in braids!
