pants please!

Some of us were just born pants girls. I am a daily and devout wearer of denim, and will always prefer a pair of jeans over a favorite skirt!

But I'm not a slacks girl, so what about the days where denim just won't do?

You can find cropped trouser styles like this super easily at places like H&M, Forever 21, and as pictured, ASOS. They are usually pretty inexpensive, between $20 and $40, so they are perfect for a small budget. Equal parts casual + chic!

For the more daring females, I encourage you with all my heart to go for a pair of PRINTED trousers like these stylish ladies shot for Elle UK.

Their layered neutral looks are perfect with a flash of texture from a pair of awesome pants. Topshop has a zillion amazing pairs, and I am loving the few pairs I found at Forever 21.

So many girls I talk to prefer dresses and skirts, and I am not one of them! Time to get creative! ...And brave enough to wear some of those groovy printed pieces...

  2. I am so totally a pants girl as well, so I feel ya! I love your picks, especially the cropped pants. They work well on any body type! As for the printed pants... eek! I don't think I'd be able to try that out. At least not yet. One step at a time haha.

  7. I love pants but they don't love me so much. My waist is far tinier than my booty, sigh, so finding pants that actually fit are so hard! But when I do find a nice pair, I make sure to stock up and do a little giddy dance ;) Yes, I am that lame! Those trousers are too cute! xxANisa

  22. lol im actually the opposite, i used to only wear pants and now i've become obsessed with skirts! but i still love pants i just have a hard time finding ones that fit right..i'm really into trousers lately and i love all the ones you picked out!

  27. Haha, Chelsea! I am the exact opposite. I have 8964873657843 pairs of tights to avoid ever having to wear pants.
    I think at the current moment I only have two pairs of jeans that actually even fit me.
    and soooo many skirts, it's ridiculous!!

  30. I also quite adore pants...I'm always afraid to wear them because I'm so short and "hourglass-y"...but my FAVOURITE bottoms are my olive green cargo skinnies...and I just bought some fabulous khaki and navy pants for $2 at the thrift sale. So looks like I'm gonna give them a try :)

  33. I loooooove those silk polka dot pants! I've made a little wardrobe goal to dress a bit more classic and structured so I think I'm gonna cut jeans out of my day-to-day look and stock up on some edgy, tailored trousers!

  37. I kind of hate wearing pants, especially jeans... unless they're this one specific kind they have at Forever 21 that are so comfy. Everything else I can't wear. But that doesn't mean I can't admire their beauty ;)
