halfway there!

Because it's my half-birthday today (yes, I always celebrate it!), I decided to gift myself a virtual shopping spree. And also because it's my half-birthday, I'm kind of in a great mood. Like a hardcore, leather, fringe, chiffon mood. Currently craving...

This leather jacket by SWORD...

...and this See by Chloé tote.

I've received emails from a few girls who have trouble defining their style. I love every piece I choose to post on my blog...and when you compare this post with my last one, it makes for totally different looks. If you ask someone what their style is, you might get a clear-cut "Vintage!" or you might get a "Maybe girly tomboy bohemian edgy?" My answer: I don't believe you have to "define your style." Wear what you love.

Yet, there's nothing like turning nineteen and a half to make you feel like a rockstar. I'm entitled to this virtual spree! What are you wishing for this Wednesday?

  4. half-birthday.. so your birthday is the 17th of september, or did I count the wrong way? but that would be kool, I'm turning 20 on the 21th if september, so I'll be turning 19 and a half in a few days, yeah ;)
    I totally agree with you on the "define your style" thing, your so right, thats what I always tell people when they ask me what my style is.

  17. great choices! i really love that last bag..happy half birthday! :P and i agree, no one should 'have' to have a defined style, fashion is so broad and ever changing, i think it would be hard to just stick to one defined style..plus it's so fun to mix it up and be adventurous!

  33. I love that See by Chloe tote. And I agree about the "defining your style" thing. I never attempt to describe mine because I like so many different styles, and I'm inspired by so many different things, that I could never limit myself to one style. I just buy what I like, and wear what I feel like wearing. The best way to go in my opinion. :)
