never fails

I promised more snow boots today, didn't I?

This is Megan. I spotted her boots while shopping in Seattle. I love how casual she is dressing for the cold, but she is soo on-trend with each piece. Army green puffer jacket? Snow-boots-as-casual-wear? Llloooovveeee!

The color of her jacket reminded me of my love for military style. Have I been wearing cargo pants for three months now? Yes. Do I have an army green parka from H&M on my Christmas wish list? Yes. Am I dragging out this army trend for everything it's worth? Yes, yes, and yes. Utilitarian is my middle name right now. And probably will be for the next six months.

And hellooooo to Caitlin, my sister! I'm sure you'll be seeing more of her in the next couple weeks (she has the cuuuuuuutest clothes) and she's so much fun to be around when she visits. Her wedding is on May 21, 2011 and I hope I get to share some of the preparations...like finding my maid-of-honor dress.

Its not enough that i'm married to a marine.. i have to go head first into this trend now that its EVERYWHERE I shop <3 I love it! Previously it was so hard to find stuff this edgy and chic at the same time!

  20. I love the utilitarian trend. I think it takes a certain type of style to pull it off. Which I most definitely don't have. That girl however pulls it off fantastically. I love those boots though!
