Three words: Modern. 70's. Chic.
Bird by Juicy Couture sweater, See by Chloé wedges, William Rast flares, Diane von Furstenberg sunnies, floppy hat from e4Hats
I fell so in love with this outfit as it is, I couldn't even put the jewelry I'd pair with it in the same collage. It just needed to have a moment.
Ettika wrap bracelet, Anna Beck silver ring, Femme Metale turquoise ring, Christie Martin double ring, all via CoutureCandy
Speaking of CoutureCandy, I bookmarked the site months ago, but I just rediscovered it and spent hours browsing their products and designers. They even have the Ella Moss I've been eyeing for the past couple weeks.
Seems crazy, but I actually put up a pair of flares in this post. I have been wearing nothing but skinny jeans for the past three years! Do you guys have a go-to denim style? Are you as (tentatively) happy about flares coming back as I am?
And I llllooovvvee that you guys are doing this tag along with me in the comments! Reading your answers is so much fun.

3. Favorite make-up brand?
If I were a billionaire, I would say NARS, but I'm mainly a drugstore makeup person. I like Rimmel and Physician's Formula. But after discovering L'Oreal's Voluminous Million Lashes, I'm seriously nevverrr going back to another.

Flares for me all the way. Skinny Jeans just don't work on me. I would life all the time in the sweater from Bird by Juicy Couture!

the brown floppy hat = LOVE. I live in skinny jeans too, being a size 0 I feel like I would get lost in pants with lots of flare. ah well, c'est la vie.
ReplyDeleteI love physician's formula! Works great and that wrap bracelet is soo cute!
ReplyDeleteThat outfit does need its own collage. I'm digging the vibe. So 70s and SO SO SO SO SO SO chic.

I really like that floppy hat that you found - it's very 70s chic. I personally love Almay and Avon makeup - I really like MAC as well but I'm on a grad student budget so usually it's Avon all the way for this gal (and they're cruelty free, so bonus!).

ReplyDeleteMy favorite type of jeans are skinnies and straight legs but I lvoe flares for their comfortablness. So I am breathing a sigh of relief that they are coming back. Haha. And I love that sweater and those shoes!

I just got my flare jeans last week and already wore them, too bad the lights was not in a compromising mood, so I could not take any decent pictures!! I will next time though

Love the look, but I don't like flare jeans anymore. Skinny is the only type that suits my body.

I'm a straight-legged kinda girl..I kinda look silly in skinny's unless there tucked into boots. Altho I prefer no pants - they are so over-rated!

I just can't get into flares. I think they look really good on tall girls and curvy girls, but as an average-height-but-not-curvy lady I just feel a little frumpy in them :\
ReplyDeleteI will say though that when styled like this with all the boho touches, they have a great Almost Famous vibe. I guess it's easier to look cool in skinnies...
