Prepare to be bombarded with words. But they're important and have to do with you!
2011 is around the corner. I've been thinking about zipped and where it's going. Although I'm nineteen and supposedly mature, I devote a moderately crazy amount of time to zipped. Right now, I live for this blog, and I pretend like I don't have to go to work or do laundry or clean or practice time management at all. Life is such a learning process...

That said, I'm going to be posting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It's a lot less, but I hope my life will become somewhat balanced again, if only allowing me more time to keep up with your blogs! I loooooooove blogging, and I'm excited to still be able to post regularly AND have lots of extra time to interact with you guys.
And I want to hear your opinion, so take a gander through past posts and tell me which ones you've enjoyed! Featured retailers, my personal outfits, trend moodboards, outfit collages...I would so appreciate hearing about your favorites. And I know, yeah, it's my blog and I decide the content, but you guys read it and I like having you around.

Sometimes cutting down on blogging is a good idea. I too can become consumed with blogging and forget about chores, work and hobbies. I like all of your posts and think whatever you choose will be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing personal outfits on any blog! Sometimes I think it's good to cut down, get more of a balance back, otherwise you get obsessed! Pretty shoes!

I love to see personal outfits, too! I'd like you to post more!
ReplyDeleteKisses, hun <3
Personal outfits and trend moodboards are my faaaav <3
ReplyDeleteBut I do heart everything you do on your blog =) I should really be on this less... it is super all consuming and it's so hard to get things done when i'm blogging 24-7. whoops. I wish this was my actual job! <3

Chels.. I hear ya. I'm still trying to figure out a balance with blogging and life. Sometimes I'd rather blog than go out on a Saturday night.
ReplyDeleteHa, but hey.. fashion is what I want to do and what I'm passionate about. So no harm there, right?

I will look forward to reading whenever you post - getting a little balance back is always good but I won't pretend I won't miss the higher frequency posts!
ReplyDeleteAs for content, I honestly like that you have the variety going on that you do, I enjoy all the content that you post but now that you have a regular schedule, what about making content featured on certain days? Maybe "Personal Outfit Mondays," "Trends and Local Retailer Wednesdays," and "Collage Fridays?" Or something.

This is so weird Chelsea, I was thinking narrowing the focus of my blog too. ANYWAYS I think you do the absolute BEST outfit collages. I love your style and everything you pick is wearable and priced well.

This is a great post, Burberry shoes are so stunning!
ReplyDeleteSoemtimes cutting down on bloggings good, better to do 3 or 4 posts a week of good interesting writing and pictures instead of one a day of the same old type of stuff. You've got a great blog anyways!
Happy new year xx
Burberry anything is great!!! I'm glad we'll still see you Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays :) Have a lovely New Year!!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, but time management is key! Keep it up and hopefully the new year will be full of amazing surprises!!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing your personal outfits. But I also love your moodboards as well.
I am drooling right now because of those shoes. Haha.

Blogging really can take over a girl's life, can't it? I totally know where you're coming from :) I added some structure to my blog a while back for the sake of my sanity- and time management- and it's worked out really well. Hope the changes in 2011 go well. Happy New Year, dear!
ReplyDeletexox,

"Prepared to be bombarded with words." Haha, I love it. Definitely a good idea to cut down a little. After all, as much fun as it is, blogging certainly isn't a life priority!

I think it's important to not get too wrapped up in the bloging world. i'm glad you are making more time for yourself!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it most when you post outfit boards and outfits you yourself wore :) I too have chosen to cut down on my blog posting because I am super busy with school and the time and my sanity is more important than my blog. Despite what I may tell myself.
ReplyDeleteDoll, I know exactly what you mean. I did every other day when I started my blog, moved to every day, and then switched back to M/W/F. It's just too hard to balance everything; I get so busy! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us M/W/F!

Love those shoes! I think it's a very good idea to do fewer posts a week so that you can have more balance- I'll most likely be doing the same thing when school starts up again because there is just not enough time to do everything! My favorites are your personal outfits and the outfit collages :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a good idea to moderate your time, it's hard to keep posting every day! You have a life to live. :)
