I love New York in the fall

GIVEAWAY happening through Saturday!


I'm having a New York moment. I can't stop looking at blogs written by New Yorkers or photos of this entrancing city without wishing I was there. When I was younger, I was set on moving to New York when I graduated, and I'm still ddessspperraatteeee to visit someday. 

This is the shopping list I'll have if I ever got the chance to go...

Matt Bernson ankle boot, Hive and Honey black buckle boot, Type Z grey boot, BB Dakota jacket, Steve Madden bag, Michael Kors beanie, AllSaints cardigan and dress and ring

It's untrue to say that New Yorkers wear all black all the time, but sometimes we're the same way in Seattle. We love our dark colors, and this is just the way I would want to look on the streets of Manhattan. These pieces are just effortlessly cool.

Points to anyone who knows what movie the title of this post comes from...!

  4. I love living less than 2 hours away from NYC - I don't make it in as often as I wish but I still get to go in for the day once every 3 months or so. I'll really miss that when I love away.

    i love everythingg! especially the dress. i have boots that could almost be identical twins with the hive and honey black buckle boot :)

I've only been to New York City once when I was a stupid little kid that only cared about going to the Pokemon store. :P So needless to say I would definitely absolutely LOVE to go again as well! And I have to say I'm quite a wearer of dark colors as well, like grays and black and whatnot, too.

    I've always wanted to go to New York, there are just too many of my favourite movies that are set there not to mention Sex & The City! It's my ambition to live there for a year! Here's hoping! :)

  22. I've never been to New York but I bet I would love it! I plan on moving to philadelphia after i graduate, i love it there!
    But this is a wonderful list of items to want. I love dark colors for the winter. :)

  34. When I was a teen I was determined to move to New York city. I had stacks of travel books about the place and a map on the wall. LOL

    Then I spent a holiday in the UK and decided maybe that was far enough afield (I grew up in mainland Europe). I'd still like to see the US though, especially if I can get a hold of a work visa one day..

  47. I am so desperate to visit NYC sometime. I feel lucky because my faaavoriteee cousin is moving to NYC for a new job, so hopefully (fingers crossed!) he will be more than happy to let his favorite cousin (and her fiance) stay there for a few days and show us around.
    There's always blackmail.

  56. NYC! Ahhh, it's amazing! I went for the first time two months ago... so much fun! The style however, I have to say is alot harder to find than I thought... I thought it would be a bigger London style wise, but it seems they are much more darling in London Town... It's still the best city in the world though (apart from Barcelona!) Thanks for my lovely comment!!! Your so sweet! I have become your 180th follower! woo!
